I work in a really high stress job, so between how many hours I'm working and the high stress, I never could find time to go to the gym and I could always find a reason to eat, to make myself feel better, or as an escape from the work. So as I got into my 30s I found the scale creeping up and that I was starting to not look the way I wanted to. And I live at the beach. The beach is part of my life. Being in a bikini is part of my weekend, every weekend. When you find yourself hoping that there's gloomy weather, it's not a good thing. So starting out this program, I really just wanted to be able to put that bikini back on, to get out on the beach and be confident and proud, as well as to learn how to make these habits a part of my life moving forward, so that I never find myself in this position again.
After 60 days of doing BODYSHRED, I was doing things that I never imagined myself doing before, and doing them well, feeling strong. Being able to feel the strength and the progress and how much more you're capable of in such a short span, was so incredible. It just made me feel like there's so much more I can do! I've done other DVD workouts. I've trained to do runs. I've done all kinds of things. Nothing has worked the way that BODYSHRED worked. It's the first time that it clicked, that everything came together, that I got the results that I was looking for, and it's all in this 30 minute workout.
BODYSHRED is the most insane, intense, fast paced workout. In 30 minutes, you are going from muscle, crazy muscle exercises to cardio, to abs and doing it all over again, cycle after cycle. There's no break in between. It's constant engagement. It's moving in every direction all at once. You're never just doing one tiny little movement. You're engaging your entire body, all at once, consistently for 30 minutes straight. It is the most intense, efficient workout I've ever done and as scary and hard as it was day one, I'm completely addicted. Now I don't want to do anything else.
